How to connect with your clients

Your website, should sell you, and not your work. That might sound counter intuitive, but hear me out. Everyone makes good work these days. It is very difficult to compete just on quality of work. If you are able to do that, you still need to do more.


Here’s the one thing I have noticed.

Very few people talked about their approach to business, or who they were. Why they were doing what they do, and other things to connect with. It was simply just showing work. This is why I feel a promo and behind the scenes videos are incredibly important for every business to have. A promo video is a one stop shop to learn everything about you in the way that you want them to learn it. Plus they experience your work, and you behind the scenes.

Now, if a promo video seems like too much to do right now, here are some other suggestions. Another key is to have a touch point about yourself on every single page. Another thing to connect with them on every page. Including the contact page. Most importantly, your main page should have more about you.
